About

We do not think of architecture as a stand-alone practice, but as one which is strongly linked to the landscapes around it. We believe that ecology and building requirements must go hand in hand, and in addition to that, improving human relationships is a goal we strive for in all our projects.

As a firm, we strive for honesty and clarity throughout the entire process. Our first aim is to understand the client’s vision and needs, not to present our own. In the last 30 years, we have been fortunate to have had the chance to work with some excellent clients on a wide range of projects, and it has been a pleasure to see these projects evolve with time. We think of a building not as an object placed at the time of construction, but rather as one that adapts and evolves based on the needs of the user and with time.

Finally, during a time when development in floodplains seems to be increasingly common, and the disastrous effects of those decisions clear for all to see, we think that a building must first and foremost be suited to the physical aspects of the local and regional landscape.
